Pelican Bar, Treasure Beach, Jamaica
Pelican Bar is probably the coolest bars on earth. You need to take a speed boat out for about a mile or so, and then you arrive at this rustic wooden bar built on a sandbank out in the middle of the water. Caroline, Laurie and the crew all spent the afternoon drinking red stripe, watching dophins, eating fish and just chillaxing. Great way to start the wedding festivities.
Jamaica mon
I am very excited to be celebrating Caroline and Laurie's wedding in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. Its a week long celebration and this morning I woke up in my cute hotel called the Calabash House. Its quite bohemian and unique with tiles mosaics and tarot cards on the wall. I went for a walk and couldn't resist taking all the pictures of the beautiful colors of boats, buildings and Jamaica mon. By the way, these were all taken with my new Canon 50 1:8 lens.
Kathy Eldon
My friend Marissa Charles brought me to Creative Visions in Malibu to meet Kathy Eldon and her foundation. When we got there, we were introduced Eric Kabera, of the Rwanda Cinema Centre & Rwanda Film Institute. Kathy immediately asked if I could take some photos of Eric with her camera. Well one thing led to another, and next thing you know we are all walking on the beach at sunset clicking our heels in the air:) I had so much fun with Kathy and think she is one of the most special people I have ever come
Puma Souls for Soles
Well, this is funny, I just got a call from VisionaryGroup yesterday asking if I could send them more pictures from the Puma Souls for Soles event they had. The theme was a Jamaican style party, since that is where their athlete Usain Bolt comes from. Coincidence is, I'm going to Jamaica tomorrow to shoot my friend Caroline's wedding! So here are some pictures from Puma's event and please stay posted for my Jamaica photos.
