Annenberg Space for Photography

Tonight I went to a lecture held by Greg Downing and Eric Hanson from xRez Studio at the Annenberg Space for Photography.  Very interesting!  They specialize in high resolution photography… Gigapixel Panoramic Photography in 3D!  One of their projects was to take a 50 panoramic picture from a gigapixel camera of  El Capitan in Yosemite.  You could zoom in SO close and really get to see spectacular detail.  If you’re interested in seeing some of their work, please feel free to check out their interactive website at xRex Studio.  http://www.xrez.com/
